Council conflict criticized

Sixty percent disapprove of its work; 83 percent want more cooperation with the suburbs.

A majority of Tulsa residents surveyed in the latest Oklahoma Poll said they disapprove of the way the City Council is doing its job and believe that conflict among councilors is hurting the city.

A large number of people -- 83 percent -- also believe that Tulsa should cooperate with suburban communities when it comes to infrastructure and economic development issues, the poll showed.
