TULSA, Okla. A new poll finds that more Oklahomans don't like the way President Bush is handling the war in Iraq.
Of the 752 likely voters surveyed by Sooner-Poll.com, 52% said they disapprove of Bush's handling of the war, with 39% saying they strongly disapprove.
The poll -- sponsored by the Tulsa World and KOTV, Channel 6 -- asked respondents to rate Bush on Iraq. In January, 53% gave Bush a favorable review when asked how he was doing in the war on terrorism.
Whether the change in wording affected responses isn't known, but poll consultant Al Soltow says the survey indicates general discontent and division on the issue.
The survey also found that 65% of respondents don't like how the Democrats are doing either.
Opinions on whether the invasion was in error were split 48% to 48%, with 4% undecided.
